Tara Reid began her career in the field of commercials as an infant. She gained a reputation for herself in Saved by the Bell: The New Class. While her acting skills are under scrutiny, she's definitely performed her roles effortlessly. Her big break was when she starred as Bunny, on the set of The Big Lebowski. The movie proved to be an important stepping stone for her career, and she started getting offers for films like Urban Legend and Cruel Intentions. However it is American Pie the cult movie featuring sexually explicit teens that established Reid as a promising face in Hollywood due to her character as the virgin Vicky. It didn't lead to an impressive, lucrative Hollywood career. Reid was a victim of a number of mistakes in films like Josie and the Pussycats. An appearance in American Pie 2 did nothing help her resurrect her career. Reid is more well-known for her work as a party planner, designer and party goer than as an actor because of her numerous offscreen mistakes she's made.
