Queen Latifah
Dana Elaine Owens better known by her stage name Queen Latifah is an American performer and actress. In film, music and television Queen Latifah has received two Screen Actors Guild Awards (two Image Awards), a Grammy Award, six more Grammy nods and has been nominated for her Emmy Award. Queen Latifah's parents were Lancelot as well as Rita Owens. Both were members of the police force. Rita was a Newark New Jersey teacher who worked in Irvington High School. Latifahs parents split up after Latifah was 10 years old. old. Latifah was brought up in the Baptist congregation and went to Catholic schools at Newark New Jersey.
